Punjab Superior Judicial Service Judge Recruitment 2013 :
Applications are invited for selection of 14 (fourteen) candidates (5 from Scheduled Caste Category and 9 from General Category while converting 1 post of Physically Challenged Category of Locomotor or Orthopaedic Disability into 'General Category) for appointment to Punjab Superior Judicial Service by direct recruitment, in the State of Punjab through competitive examination under Rule 7(3)(c) of Punjab Superior Judicial Service Rules, 2007.
Qualifications:
(a) he/she must be a citizen of india;
(b) he/she must have been duly enrolled as an Advocate and must have practised for a period not less than seven years as on the last date of submission of applications i.e. 03.06.2013;
(c) he/she must have attained the age of thirty five years and must not have attained the age of forty five years as on the last date of submission of applications i.e. 03.06.2013 (in the case of Scheduled Castes, the upper age limit is relaxable by five years);
(d) he/she must not have more than one spouse living.
(Provided that the High Court may, if satisfied that there are special grounds for - doing so, exempt any person from the operation of this sub-rule).
(e) he/she must have passed matriculation examination with Punjabi as one of the compulsory or elective subjects or any other equivalent examination in Punjabi language, specified by the Government from time to time.

Examination Fee:
Application Fee of Rs.1000/- (Rs.500/- for reserved category) in the form of DD in favour of The Registrar General, High Court of Punjab and Haryana, Chandigarh.
