Applications are invited for the following posts from eligible candidates against the vacancies in BARC and constituent units of DAE located in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai.


Stenographer Grade–III : 28 posts (UR-14, OBC-7, SC-4, ST-3), Pay Scale : Rs. 5200–20200 + Gr Pay Rs. 2400/-
Stenographer Grade–II : 08 posts (UR-7, ST-1), Pay Scale : Rs. 9300-34800  + Gr Pay Rs. 4200/-

Educational Qualification


  • Stenographer Grade–III : Matriculation or equivalent, Minimum speed of 80 w.p.m in English Shorthand & 30 w.p.m in English Typewriting
  • Stenographer Grade–II :  Matriculation or equivalent, Minimum speed of 100 w.p.m in English Shorthand and 45 w.p.m in English Typewriting
Desirable Qualification for both posts:- Knowledge of Computer Application, Data Entry & Data Processing

Age Limit (As on 31.05.2013)
Min. 18 years for both the posts.

Qualifications:
Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree of a University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, Provincial Act or an Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission or any other equivalent qualification; and a) Pass in Typewriting and Shorthand Higher in English, and b) Pass in Typewriting and Shorthand Lower Grade in Telugu.
02.Senior Stenographer in A.P. Tribunal for Disciplinary Proceedings


Qualifications:
Must hold B.A./ B.Sc./ B.Com or equivalent qualification. Type Writing Higher Grade, Shorthand Higher (Both in English)
03.Senior Stenographer in A.P. Ministerial Service.
Qualifications:
a) Academic Qualifications: Intermediate. b) Technical Qualifications: Pass in Shorthand and Typewriting by Higher Grade in the concerned language conducted by State Board of Technical Education of A.P. Government or any other equivalent qualification as provided in the APMS Rules.

04.Senior Stenographer in A.P. Board of Intermediate Education.


Qualifications:
Must have passed the Government Technical Examination in Shorthand and Typewriting by the Higher Grade or any other equivalent qualification provided that for direct recruitment one must also be a Graduate.

FEE: (Remittance of Fee) Each applicant must pay Rs. 100/- (Rupees One
Hundred only) towards Application Processing Fee and Examination Fee RS.80/- (RUPEES
EIGHTY ONLY) (if Candidates are not exempted from payment of Fee). Payment of Rs. 100/- (Rupees One Hundred only) towards application processing fee is compulsory for all Applicants.

PROCEDURE OF SELECTION:
THE SELECTION OF CANDIDATES FOR APPOINTMENT TO THE POST of Senior
Stenographers is on the basis of Written Examination (Conventional Type) i.e., there will be no interview as shown in Annexure-II
1. The minimum qualifying marks for selection are OCs 40%, BCs 35% SCs, STs & PHs
30% or as per rules. The minimum qualifying marks are relaxable in the case of SC/ST/BC/PH on the discretion of the Commission.
2. The candidates will be selected and allotted to Service/ Department as per their rank in the merit list and as per preference for allotment of candidates against vacancies.
N.B.: Mere securing minimum qualifying marks does not vest any right in a candidate for being selected.
3. The appearance in all the papers at the Written Examination and as per rules, is
compulsory. Absence in any of the above tests will automatically render his candidature as disqualified.
4. Candidates have to produce Original documents and other particulars on the day of
verification date itself for verification as and when required and called for. If candidate fails to produce the certificates if any one, and the particulars furnished in the Application do not tally with the Original documents produced by the candidate, the candidature will be
rejected/disqualified without any further correspondence. As candidature for the recruitment is processed through Computer/Electronic devices based on the particulars furnished in the Application Form, the candidate is advised to fill in all the relevant particulars carefully.
5. While the Commission calls for preference of candidates in respect of posts, zones etc., in the application form, it is hereby clarified that the said preferences are only indicative for being considered to the extent possible but not binding or limiting the Commission’s powers enjoyed under Article 315 and 320 of the Constitution of India. Therefore, the Commission has the power to assigning a successful candidate to any of the notified posts for which he is considered by them to be qualified and eligible, subject to fulfilling the selection criterion.

HOW TO APPLY:

A) HOW TO UPLOAD THE APPLICATION FORM:
i) The Applicants have to read the User Guide for Online Submission of Applications and then proceed further.
I Step: The Candidate has to logon to the WEBSITE (www.apspsc.gov.in) and enter his/her Basic Personal Details like Name, Father’s Name, Date of Birth, and Community.
II Step: Immediately on entering the above details the Applicant will get (downloadable)- Challan Form to pay the Fee at AP Online centers /State Bank of India.
III Step: The Applicant should pay the prescribed Fee in any one of the A.P. Online centers /State Bank of India and obtain Fee paid challan with Journal Number in the first instance.
IV Step: On the next working day after payment of Fee the Applicant should again visit WEBSITE and enter the Journal Number to get and fill the format of Application and should submit ON-LINE.
V Step: Affix your recent Colour Passport Size Photograph on a White Paper and then sign below the photograph with Black Pen. Scan the above Photo and Signature and Upload in the appropriate space provided (JPG Format) in Application Form.
VI Step: The applicants have to invariably fill all the relevant columns in the Application and should submit ON-LINE.
ii) Hand written/ Typed/ Photostat copies/ outside printed Application Form will not
be accepted and liable for rejection.
iii) Only applicants willing to serve anywhere in the Andhra Pradesh should apply.

SBI Clerks (Assistant Stenographers) Exam Pattern And Syllabus 2012

The SBI Clerk Entrance Exam is carried out by the State Bank of India. The main aim of this exam is to recruit candidates into the clerical posts. The selection of the candidates is done by way of a written test and an interview. Only those candidates who clear the entrance test with high scores will be asked to appear for the interview. Depending on the candidate’s presentation in the interview, they will be chosen for the job.
The minimum qualification that is needed by a person to appear for this exam is a pass in class 12. Those students who have finished their graduation are suitable to apply for the exam too. They ought to have above 60 percent marks as to apply for the exam.
Syllabus for the SBI Clerical Entrance Exam
The syllabus for the SBI Clerk Entrance Exam is based completely on the syllabus of class 10+2. It will be from different boards like State, ISE and CBSE. The candidates must be acquainted with the syllabus of class 10+1 and 10+2.

Question pattern for the SBI Clerical Written Exam
The Bank Clerk Examination will comprise of 4 subjects generally. They are:
  • Test of Reasoning
  • Numerical Ability
  • Test of English Language
  • Clerical Aptitude
But, according to the new scheme that has been announced by the State Bank of India, there will be 6 tests. They include:
  • Computer /Marketing
  • General Awareness
  • General English
  • Quantitative Aptitude
  • Reasoning Ability
Out of this, General English is a mandatory subject. The exam will have duration of 140 minutes. The questions will be of the objective type with multiple choices. This method will permit the students to choose the accurate answer from the set that is provided to them. Negative marking is there in the written test.  For every incorrect answer given by the students, 1/4th marks will be taken away from them. Because of this, the students need to be very careful before attempting a question whose answer they are not sure of. Every aspirant of the SBI Clerk Exam should have passed in each one of the objective tests individually and they should get a score of more than 40 percent marks on an aggregate basis.

Important Note
-   0.25 Marks Will be Deducted For Each Wrong Answer From The Assigned Mark.
